Who is T’Nerra?
Greetings!
I am T’Nerra Butler, a communications manager who uses my writing and communications talents to uplift and empower at-risk communities.
Working with Community Development Corporations throughout the City of Chicago exposed me to the many challenges faced by underrepresented communities. The countless tales of vulnerable and marginalized groups inspires me to be part of the solution and effect change for those looking to navigate challenging systems.
Before going to Florida A & M University, I attended Eastern Illinois University and served as the Multicultural editor and Verge editor for the Daily Eastern News.
Experiences like studying under Nieman Fellows at Harvard University and heading a special 2018 gubernatorial election edition of The Famuan have furthered my pursuit of a career in communications.
